Laura Rothfritz is a research assistant and PhD candidate at the department of Information Management at the School for Library and Information Science, Humboldt Universität Berlin. Additionally, she works as a scientific consultant and is a founding member of scidecode science consulting de Castro, Herb, Rothfritz GbR. scidecode carries out studies for various clients on the topics of scientific publishing and communication. She studied at the University of Applied Sciences Potsdam and earned her BA in Library Management. In 2019 she completed her MA in Information Sciences. Her main research interests are in the area of research data management, infrastructure studies and open science with a special focus on socio-technological perspectives on the relationship between data infrastructures and societies and a strong relation to STS (Science and Technology Studies). The topic of her dissertation is distrust and mistrust in data infrastructures.
